Mark Freeman’s Writing Career

“Mark Freeman is not the black soldier who chased Poncho Villa all over Mexico, nor is he a third-generation Irish stone-cutter with too much dust in his lungs. But listen to the songs that he sings, and you’d swear that he’s got some spooky spiritual channel that only he can hear. That is, until you hear them too…The husky-voiced Freeman has a knack for writing stories of love, sorrow and adventure.” -Scene Magazine
